THE PLAN

 

God’s plan was perfect

Man born into His rest

Man provided for

There was no darkness, no fear

No sickness, nor pain. 

God saw all He had done 

and called it GOOD! 

 

In His graciousness 

He allowed the privilege of choice, 

Which is also the privilege of foolishness

Otherwise referred to as “freewill”

But man’s freewill prevailed over them into foolishness.

Man was enticed by the devil into disobedience 

Like an adult flashes sweets to a toddler

And so man fell from God’s plan

The blessed man became a cursed man 

With a death sentence hanging over their head 

For the consequence of sin is death 

They were plunged into an era of works

They became immune to fear

To pain, to sickness

And the very nature God made them to be 

Was now replaced with the propensity to sin. 

God and man became like two parallel lines 

But God didn’t give up on them, 

He didn’t give up on US. 

For God while Just is Kind 

And He is Merciful.
